We live in the age of lifestyle diseases, in which we gradually succumb to one of them: stress. The World Health Organization has even called it ‘the disease of the century’. Lack of coping skills can lead to very serious health complications, both physical and mental ones, which is confirmed by numerous studies and articles. It has been shown that stress causes heart disease and depression. Additionally, it weakens the immune system, which leads to frequent bacterial and viral infections. The closest link between long-term tension and morbidity has been noticed in the case of skin diseases, gastrointestinal and neurological complaints as well as cancers and emotional disorders. Even a common cold or a prolonged runny nose may be signs of weakness caused by stress.

During the training, you will learn the mechanisms of stress and its types. You will learn how it affects your health, what psychoneuroimmunology is, and, most importantly, how you can deal with it effectively and safely. Prevention is better than cure!
