It is a fact that men do not have to birth children. It is easier for us to move up further steps of professional career, we usually earn more and we are often called the head of the family. The question is: at what expense is this done? This is something that is not mentioned often. Being a man is not easy. There are big expectations of men resulting from membership to a particular culture and society. We have to be strong, we cannot show sensitivity or weaknesses, despite the fact that for many people, the two above characteristics in a man are the same thing. When others fall, we keep on. If we fall, we get up quickly, just like that, without any effort. We are executors of life, machines for winning, achieving, providing and earning. The problem is that we are not machines after all. We have hearts full of emotions, just like women. We need intimacy, warmth and love. We love, cry, feel emotional and amazed. Unfortunately, this is often experienced within us, in silence because a man showing emotions or tears is not a real man. How will such a man defend his family against the bad? Perhaps there is a golden mean? Maybe everything can go hand in hand, and perhaps sensitivity is a strength, while those who run away from emotions are weak because they are unable to cope with them and experience them?
During this training course, we will respond to the following question: where is the place for expressing yourself, showing emotions and accessing your sensitive side among the simple standards seen in Westerns or films about Rambo? Together, you will break the stereotypes that are within us while learning how to be yourself. Unfortunately, the process of change of the standards in the society will take plenty of time. We will talk about the apparently non-masculine subjects in a purely masculine environment. We will try to reach your emotions, needs and desires. We will rediscover your sensitivity building your strength on its basis – the strength of a real man.
